This Privacy Statement explains how Blackbriar Music VOF handles personal data when you visit our store, place an order, create an account, download digital products, subscribe to updates, or contact support.

Personal Data We Process

Depending on how you use the store, we may process the following data:

Why We Use This Data

Legal Grounds

We process personal data only when we have a legal ground to do so. Most order and account data is needed to perform the purchase agreement with you. Some data is required by law, for example for tax and accounting records. Some processing is based on our legitimate interests, such as store security, fraud prevention, customer service, and improving the website. Newsletter subscriptions and certain non-essential cookies are based on consent where required.

Who We Share Data With

Our Advanced Search feature may record submitted search terms, result counts, clicked results, and search-assisted add-to-cart or purchase signals. This helps us see which search terms are useful, which terms produce no good results, and where the store search can be improved. For this attribution we use a first-party cookie and local browser storage that remember the latest relevant search for up to 7 days. This search attribution does not store payment-card details.

MAGE-TRANSLATION-FILE-VERSION, MAGE-TRANSLATION-STORAGE	Support translated store text where translation features are used.
digibuds_advanced_search_recent	Local browser storage used by Advanced Search to show your recent search terms on the device/browser you are using.
digibuds_advanced_search_attribution	First-party cookie and local browser storage used by Advanced Search for search-assisted conversion analytics. It can store the latest search term, result count, search source, selected product reference, and timestamp for up to 7 days, and is cleared after checkout success when possible.
Google Analytics or Google tag cookies	Help us understand store traffic and usage when analytics is enabled and permitted. Advanced Search can also send Google Tag Manager-ready events for search submit, result click, add-to-cart, and purchase actions.
Security and anti-spam cookies	Help protect the store and support forms from abuse, spam, and automated attacks.

How Long We Keep Data

We keep personal data only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

• Order, invoice, payment, and accounting records are kept for the period required by tax and administration laws.
• Account data is kept while your account exists, unless we need to keep certain records for legal, security, or dispute reasons.
• Support messages are kept as long as needed to handle your request and maintain a useful support history.
• Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe or we stop using it for that purpose.
